Awakened
Ok, let’s put it all together! Here is my personal list
of personal development, self-improvement, and daily optimization protocols and
habits:
1. 5:00am club. Can be 6:00am and in
winter maybe even 7:00am Point is to not lay in bed and snooze, get up and to
the day. Going to bed by 10 or 10:30 gives you enough required sleep (6-8
hours.)
2.
Cold showers. Warm, hot. Finish cold.
3.
Read, read, read. I read 5 books at a
time. All at different times of the day. Re-read many good books that had an
impact on you. Take notes or make notes and highlight.
4.
Meditation=gamechanger. I use the
Muse brain training headband.
5.
MCT oil, Omega 3 and 6, and a
nootropic with Ashwagandha, and/or Gingko Biloba, Bacopa. Good for brain clarity and focus.
COFFEE of course also!
6.
Work-out/weight training! Training
your muscles is actually training your discipline and willpower muscle.
7.
Journal. Daily is best but at least
do a weekly recap.
8.
Sleep routine: no phone 1 hr before
bed, finish eating 2 or 3 hrs before, black out blinds or drapes, cool room.
9. Productivity: Work in 90 min blocks
Weekly budget, quarterly budget, and yearly financial overhaul.
Family time! Not just special occasions- visit with your parents and cousins, nieces and nephews and spend time together!
I’m currently single but when coupled I dedicate time to nurturing the relationship.
Hiking, time in nature. So healing. Forest bathing is a beautiful practice.
No PMO or do No Fap. You read the benefits before. If you’re a young person try not to get hooked, if you are older, you can still require your brain to not be compulsive with the addiction.
Take social media fasts. Another great way to dopamine reset!
Spiritual work. I like Yoqi. Prayer is of course a great way to connect to whatever higher power you believe in.
